Going Fast: 1972 Aston Martin DBS Series II RHD eBay Find

One thing you may at some point be able to detect is that I am a huge Aston Martin nut. I love practically all models in the automaker’s storied history.

Well, except for the Lagonda – that thing is almost as ugly as the rest of the lineup is gorgeous.

So, every time I see a sweet Aston for sale in the USA, I have to get excited, especially if the car in question is a vintage DBS.

Up for grabs right now in New York one seriously cool 1972 Aston Martin DBS Series II – in silver, no less. This coupe reminds me of the earlier DBS George Lazenby drove in his one-and-only James Bond outing, 1969’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, except for Bond’s DBS being green. Either way, this DBS V8 was the performance model of its day, and it’s nice to see such a great, original example up for sale in the States.

Here's what the seller says:
This is a 1972 Aston Martin V8 DBSseries II in highly restored condition. This car, chassis # V8/10534/RCA, engine # V/540/396, is a RHD automatic car with AC. Car was extensively restored by Trinity Engineering of Surrey England from 2002-2005, the work is superb. Car is one of the best examples of a DBS we have ever seen. Car comes with an extensive restoration file from Trinity, including a photo album, original Owners manual and multiple keys.

Act Fast

This particular car is up for auction on eBay, and the auction will end in 16 days. So act fast, this deal won’t last.

Oh, and the seller is accepting offers. I wonder how low they might be willing to go?

Now, if only it were a stick shift...
